of a physical quantity is defined as the power to which the fundamental units
have to be raised to represent the derived unit of that quantity.
From the study of dimensional formulae of
physical quantities, we can divide them into four categories
A system
of units is called coherent if all derived units are obtained by multiplication
or division from a certain set of basic units.
